Nic has been collecting will skillz since 2007. She worked her way up the ladder of a large Brisbane firm in their wills, estates and trusts team. When she moved back out west, she joined a law firm in Goondiwindi before starting G.Law.
Nic is obsessed with all things business, podcasts and regional Australia. When she's not at G.Law HQ, she runs another business [G.Fence] with her husband Ed. So she not only knows wills, but she can read a balance sheet – and understands tax and super law. HANDY FOR WILLS!
What makes Nic smile the most "days spent meeting people, hearing their stories and helping them make tough decisions. That, or in my garden, with the sun on my face and three monkeys playing together, their laughter tinkling in my ears."
Ginny is our G.Law Business Manager [and organiser of all the things]. She joined the G.Law team in 2020. And hell did we need her!
Ginny is actually a nurse, but we noticed her kind and nurturing nature, her attention to detail and ability to prioritise and just KNEW we needed her in the team.
Ginny works part time, and when she's not in the office, you can find her running an ag business with her husband Josh or hiding in her garden from her three children. She helps us keep our tasks on track here at G.Law HQ.
She is our chief baby snuggler and child wrangler if they join you at our Heart to Heart meeting [she has the coloured pencils at the ready].
If you ask us, every team needs a Ginny. We just love ours.
Sometimes the universe gives you a sign.
This sign? It was Julia – our newest team member here at G.Law.
Originally hailing from Quilpie, Julia headed east, working in big & small firms in Brisbane for the better part of 6 years. Then, she headed west. Much further west. Spending six months travelling around Australia with her fiancé.
Now? She’s based right here in Goondiwindi.
With an exceptional legal background she makes the perfect Protector of Legacies (all round legal ninja).
What a score for our town, and our team.
So welcome, Julia – we’re pretty bloody excited to have you as part of our small, but mighty team.

Yes, another Nik. This Nik? She's been wrangling words for us here at G.Law since 2018 as a contractor [check her out at The Regional Marketing Co]. Nik helps to keep our G.Law branding humming - whether it be on our socials, our client comms and all things digital.
Nik studied communications at university [funny that, hey]. She worked in agribusiness in Sydney before falling in love, packing her bags and moving to Goondiwindi – and BOY are we glad she did.
When Nik isn't throwing crazy ideas or moving things around the office to take a photo for our feed – you can find her spending time with her husband Troy, pottering in the garden or playing with her dogs Millie and Buster.
We bloody love Nik – she's a keeper.
We don't just say we offer peace of mind – we mean it.
We talk a lot about MENTAL LOAD here at G.Law.
The mental load is the weight of thought that sits behind everything we do. The more organised we get, the more it reduces and fades into the background. Mental load is the organising, list making, planning that you do to manage your life. Basically “all of the things”.
How do you even start to describe your mental load?
For me [Nic], right now, it is going a bit like this:
Did our kids eat enough protein for dinner? Did I get enough protein for dinner? Should I start cooking the chicken for our family lunch tomorrow? Did I email my bookkeeper to get the BAS underway? I need to book the carpet cleaner, or should I wait until closer to Christmas? I should start to organise Christmas. I wonder if my husband has remembered our daughter has a swimming lesson at 9am today? [BTW, of course he had, why was this even on my mental load?].
Sound familiar?
Mental load is the unpaid, often unrecognised, burden that keeps everything ticking, AND it’s holding you back.
Lightening your mental load can FREE YOUR MIND.
So let us give you a hand with that.
Let's get your will done.
We are a team of humans, working with humans. That's why it works so well. We get the legal stuff, but we also put client experience at the forefront of everything we do. We're doing law, but we're doing it differently – and we're proud of that.
Getting sh*t done.
Embracing our 'flearnings'.
Flexibility.
Transparency.
No B.S.
And we don't say that lightly. We actually mean it – because we're big on integrity and being genuine humans.
Hughie, the wonder dog – he's a special one.
Family, friends and seeing women kick goals in business.
All the places. – Anywhere new.
